Sweet Smile :)

Austin is having a GREAT day! This morning he was switched from SiPAP to CPAP. Although he still has to wear the same mask, he's one step closer to going on the nasal cannula.

During Austin's surgery when he first arrived at Baylor Dallas, the surgeon found that he had a meconium plug or meconium ileus. This is probably what caused his intestines perforate. It is also an indicator of Cystic Fibrosis. We have been anxiously waiting on the results of all the testing to come back for a few weeks. Thankfully when all of the testing came back, Austin does not have Cystic Fibrosis.

Austin has had the same nurse the last two days and he really likes her (as do I). Hopefully she will be one of his primaries! He was smiling a lot today. :)
